Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:

Act as Mining lead, Project Manager, Project Engineer on EPCM and DE and Project Delivery scope/projects

Senior level of operational hard rock experience

In-depth knowledge of Deswik, Studio 5 D planner and other mining industry approved software

Experience and familiarity with NI43-101 and/ or JORC compliant studies highly regarded

Provide technical and consulting services to mining clients

Excellent communication and relationship management skills

Assist in the preparation and implementation of Project Management Plans for mining operation

Provide engineering and technical support to management

Commitment to excellence in safety and environmental management

Proven ability to liaise effectively with operations personnel and senior management

Plan, lead, organize and control project resources to ensure the requirements and project objectives are met on an ongoing basis.

Knowledge of project management practices including budgeting;

Underground mining operations and engineering experience is considered an asset, as is mine rescue experience;

The candidate must have a minimum of 15 years of overall experience, with at least 8 years in related disciplines.

Manage construction supervision for UndergroundPowerhouse Complex, including tunnels, caverns, chambers, and switchyard.

Collaborate with experts on daily activities.

Review and approve construction plans, schedules, materials, and documents.

Monitor contractor's resources and materials through inspections.

Verify contractor's monthly payment statements with Quantity Surveyors.

Job Duties/Responsibilities May Include, But Are Not Limited To

Experience in managing greenfield, or large brownfield projects is required ($100Mn-$1 Bn)

Over 5 years of working experience in estimating project budgets from the start until the completion of a project.

Technical Support: Provide technical support to Corporate Mining Manager in evaluating mining operations, geological data analysis, and mine planning.

Knowledge in mining and geological principles, practices, and regulations.

Knowledge Autocad and MS Office

Knowledge of crushing/screening process is a plus

Solid experience in the areas of project management of technical and trade-off studies.

A degree in Mining Engineer with more than 15 years’ experience relevant to the responsibilities listed above.
