Senior System Devops Developer Jobs in Ontario

4+ Years of proven development and/or DevOps experience deploying and maintaining global multi-tiered infrastructure and web applications

Strong operational experience in Linux/Unix environment and scripting languages: Shell scripting, python, groovy

Network troubleshooting experience with packet inspection, wireshark, dns manipulation, etc

Effective cross-functional leadership skills: working with engineering and operational teams to ensure systems are secure, scalable, and reliable.

Demonstrated experience in AWS solutioning using automation tools such as Terraform, Lambda, and others

Demonstrated expertise in applying end to end network troubleshooting with a number of different solutions like Cloudflare, Akamai, etc

Experience with developing and maintaining RESTful web services

Experience with log investigation and packet trace analysis

Good understanding of continuous integration/delivery practices and other DevOps concepts, with hands-on experience using one of Jenkins or Github

Experience with both NoSQL databases

Linux and relevant experience with networking, security, caching and low-level performance tuning

Experience with Java, Python, NodeJS or any major programming language

Experience with formal design and development methodologies, including requirements management, verification and validation, and engineering change control

Create and maintain risk management files and usability files

Familiarity with risk management for medical devices (ISO 14971)

Define user and system requirements for the company’s products

Coordinate with mechanical and electrical designers and software developers to ensure that the products meet requirements

Write test reports and establish traceability from requirements to verification and validation

Knowledge of IaC experience with Terraform and Ansible

Knowledge of Tangible experience with Kubernetes and Helm

3+ years of cloud Infrastructure knowledge (AWS stack such as EC2, S3, VPCs)

Knowledge of containerization solutions such as Docker

Strong communication skills both verbal and in written

A clear credit check is a requirement for this role

Participate in key roles in multiple system projects towards ensuring that the functional design and delivery solutions meet business requirements

Intermediate SQL skills, with solid grasp of relational database concepts, stored procedures, window & aggregate functions, etc.

Basic to intermediate experience with certain programming languages such as PowerShell, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, Python

Experience with RESTful API usage and design, front-end web development, Terraform, or objected-oriented languages like C#, are an assets

Knowledge of ERP systems (Kronos, Manhattan WMS, JDA and TMS) and Supply Chain operational knowledge are assets

Responsible for developing applications and automation models required by the business
