Senior Project Manager – Facilities Jobs in Manitoba

Minimum 5+ years residential condominium experience in a senior leadership level role focused on technical and customer service management

Be a liaison with Tarion New Home Warranty Corporation, Property Management and Condo Boards when necessary

Management of personnel and equipment resources

Participate in project planning/construction meetings; offer insight into selected materials from a customer service perspective

Responsible for administrative and operational responsibilities to ensure required audits and verifications are carried out according to company policies

Experience with high-level, analytical reporting and presentations related to both new and recurring maintenance costs

Project management experience; demonstrated ability to effectively manage from design to hand over;

Provides coaching and mentoring for senior operational management staff at the portfolio level to improve operational effectiveness.

Develops site goals/objectives in collaboration with senior staff; guides staff in development/management analysis of operational plans and effective communications;

Directs/manages implementation of quality control and risk reduction programs (i.e., policies, procedures, ISO 9001, etc.);

Knowledge/understanding of Occupational Health & Safety Act; building/fire/other codes and applicable standards/regulations pertaining to facilities maintenance and operations;

Strong communication/presentation skills (verbal and written); ability to excel in a team environment;

Minimum 2 years of Project Management experience

Experience with Construction Contract Project Management (coordination, planning, scheduling, legal contracts, documentation, etc.)

Maintains contract documentation on legal contract management software (Cobblestone).

3 – 5 years’ experience in building systems in an industrial setting with practical knowledge

Working knowledge and experience with various engineering disciplines

Consult with operation and maintenances manuals and use knowledge of systems to troubleshoot maintenance issues and coordinate engineering support.
