Senior Payroll Advisor Jobs in Nova Scotia

P.Eng. qualification with a minimum of 7 years post-designation experience, primarily within a progressive electrical utility or a utility regulatory body.

Extensive knowledge and experience in utility engineering, operations, planning and economics.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a committed approach that shows initiative and adaptability.

Highly developed analytical and problem resolution skills with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and simply.

Experience providing consulting or advisory services generally associated with grid integration of renewable resources or efficiency and conservation initiatives.

Considerable knowledge of the utility regulatory environment and hearing processes.

Multi-tasking and sound time management skills

Work in conjunction with the Manager to administer the Benefit and Pension program including all plan changes and communication

Oversee the biweekly processing of all payroll transactions related to employee’s life cycle experience

Benefit and Pension Plan Administration

Work with the Manager to conduct job evaluation reviews for all positions utilizing the Hay system

Accounting knowledge and an acute attention to detail
