Senior Ovation Claims Advisor Jobs

2 years’ experience in a customer service role.

Experience in the general insurance industry, particularly in the surety and/or warranty claims fields preferred.

Practical experience within the development and/or residential construction industries is considered a huge plus.

Working knowledge of computer applications, including MS Word and Excel is required.

Knowledge of Xact-Analysis and other web-based databases would be beneficial

Strong investigation and negotiations skills.

*Post-secondary education or a combination of relevant education and on-the-job experience.

*1 - 3 years of insurance adjusting industry or broker claims experience an asset.

*Strong English oral and written communication skills; Mandarin an asset.

*Working knowledge of Auto/Property adjusting and claim adjudication process an asset.

*Prior experience in customer service environment required.

*Insurance Claims Licence and actively pursuing CIP designation preferred or willingness to enrol

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Effective use of WCG’s Case Management System and other systems and databases

Keep abreast of emerging trends for claims assessment and flag these to the Lead, Claims Management

Strong auditing background and data entry experience

Undertake standard and ad hoc data entry tasks

Process client and employer financial support claims and ensuring contractual and legislative requirements are met

Organized and strong time management skills

5+ years' High Value personal lines experience is a huge plus.

Identify and report on any suspicions of fraud or financial irregularities in line with existing internal and external requirements and procedures

CIP or FCIP Industry designation or other relevant professional insurance qualification

University Degree or College Diploma or equivalent Property technical work experience
