Segregated Funds Administrator Jobs

Proven experience in government grant acquisition, management, and compliance in Canada.

Strong analytical skills for evaluating grant opportunities, assessing risk, and financial management.

Detail-oriented with strong project management skills to ensure compliance and timely submissions.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, and program managers, to ensure accurate budgeting, reporting, and compliance with grant terms.

Work with the finance team to develop and manage budgets for projects funded by government grants.

Lead the grant application process, ensuring timely and accurate submissions that meet all requirements and guidelines.

3 years of experience in Wealth management projects as a Business Analyst or Business SME

Manage the Requirements Tools used to capture and maintain the Business Requirements

Accountable to ensure that the requirements are aligned with our business objectives and stated expectations

Ensure business requirements are traceable through specifications, solution design and test cases

1 year of experience in Agile delivery methodology

3 years Canadian mutual funds industry experience

Assist with treasury and cash management including liquidity analysis for funding requirements;

The role will report directly to the Senior Vice President, Finance for Slate Asset Management.

Liaise with asset managers regarding property operations and tenant activity to ensure the accuracy of monthly operating and cash flow statements;

Minimum 1-3 years of industry or public accounting experience;

Real estate accounting experience preferred;

Experience with Yardi reporting system and Wdesk preferred; and

You will assist with the appropriate handling of Fund Manager and Investor calls and emails.

You have a post-secondary education.

You ideally have 1 – 3 years’ experience in Client Services.

You possess excellent MS Office suite skills; strong Excel skills.

You will have an advantage if you have knowledge of hedge or mutual fund industry and concepts is preferred.

You have experience in Investor Relations, as it relates to a transfer agency environment is preferred.
