Liase with emergency responders, clients, and Paladin management

Management of Aggressive Behaviour (MOAB)

At least 1 year of security experience, preferably experience working in Healthcare

Candidates with experience working in Healthcare and Mental Health will be given priority

De-escalate situations involving dealing, drinking, and fighting to ensure that all areas are covered and secured at all times

Have Security experience in a commercial tower, retail, hospital, College, hospitality or public building setting

Strong communication skills - written, verbal, and listening

Valid Ontario Security Guard License and CPR

Demonstrated ability to prepare professional security reports

Maintain high visibility, high vigilance, and a professional demeanor in the environment

Prepare informative, detailed, accurate, and grammatically correct reports

Experience working in the social services sector or with persons in crisis would be an asset

Display exceptional customer service and communication skills

Have intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites

Shift Length: 12-hours Continental Rotation

Shift Times: 0800-2000 and 2000-0800

Good interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively at various social levels and across diverse cultures

Control entry and access to the plant and maintain accurate logs of those entering and leaving the plant

Document and Customs control for contractors/drivers

There is also some document and customs control for contractors/drivers

Report safety non-compliances and all incidents to specified Ingredion representative

Aid in incident mitigation and investigations when required

Perform security checks and liaise with students, customers, and the public.

Ensure site safety and emergency procedures are followed and maintain written reports.

Enforce compliance to company policies and procedures.

First aid – be prepared to administer when required.

Maintaining a positive, productive work environment through collaboration.

Minimum One (1) year Security Guard experience in a municipal government or corporate environment would be an asset.

Post-Secondary education in a related field would be an asset.

Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Must possess a current First Aid/CPR certification

First Aid CPR - Level C Certification.

Minimum 1 year security related experience preferred.

Excellent verbal/written communication skills in English.

Knowledge of relevant Federal, Provincial, Municipal laws and By-laws.

First Aid - CPR Level C Certification

Valid Ontario Security Guard license.

Aid in Nestle Health and Safety programs/procedures when required

Experience or training in providing security services in a customer service oriented manner.

Experience providing facility security including the use of security systems and key systems.

Knowledge of Trespass to Property Act.

Possess interpersonal and customer service skills, including conflict resolution, problem solving, decision-making and situational assessment.

Verbal and written communication skills with the ability to respond to staff and public in a courteous and effective manner.

Demonstrated experience working with a computer and the ability to utilize a variety of software is an asset.

Minimum of 1-year of experience as a Security Guard

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Intermediate computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office

CCTV monitoring experience in a control room setting considered an asset

Experience with access card programming considered an asset

Experience with alarm monitoring is considered an asset
