Review subcontract schedule status and provide Management with input on subcontract performance

Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Technology or a combination of equivalent skills and field

Excellent written, verbal, communication and organizational skills, French an asset

5-7+ years of relevant experience in similar positions in planning

Advanced Primavera 6, MS Project and Excel skills

Experience with heavy civil, design build or P3 construction projects, an asset;

• Postsecondary education (i.e. Manufacturing, Operations management) or equivalent work experience

Requirements: Postsecondary Education and knowledge of SAP

• Knowledge of computers (SAP experience an asset)

• Competent level of organizational, leadership and communication skills

• Previous work experience in an environment utilizing lean production principles an asset

Job Title: Production Scheduling Supervisor – Night Shift

Ensures work management, planning and scheduling is performed in a consistent manner across the site

Accountable for goal setting, performance management and reviews for 5 IPL employees and for 5-15 Contract or contingent workers

Support for delivery and efficient management of multi-million dollar budgets

Accountable to operationalize the planning / scheduling and project management work processes:

Manage attrition and succession for all employees and contractor resources to align with business needs

10+ years of leadership experience

Technical diploma, or related industry experience

A minimum of 3 to 5 years of equivalent experience

Strong analytical, organizational and problem solving skills.

Advanced computer skills i.e. Autocad, MS Word and Excel

Excellent judgment and analytical skills, and ability to explain and influence

Reporting to the Sawmill Manager, you will be part of a results-oriented team whose members are encouraged to exceed expectations.

Good knowledge of Kronos, Microsoft Office Programs, Meditech

Previous experience with payroll recording

Sound knowledge of the union Collective Agreements as they pertain to scheduling related provisions would be an asset

Superior customer service, team building, coaching and mentoring skills

Evidence of a high degree of accuracy in keyboarding skills

Evidence of effective organizational, interpersonal, communication, judgment and decision making skills
