Safety Services Technician Jobs

Successful completion of physical abilities test (as per job demands matrix) may be a requirement of the job

Flying in helicopters and fixed wing aircraft to remote locations and oil rigs may be a requirement

Communication skills - verbal and written

Computer skills - Email: Outlook, Intranet/Internet, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word

Experience in sales or customer service

Climb poles on a daily basis (using ladders, spurs and other tools)

Ensure any lost, stolen, or damaged equipment is immediately reported to management.

Continually work toward enhancing and improving technical skills to include audio, video/data, staging, and computer operation and networking.

Good working knowledge of computer hardware and software

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Ensure all event sets and strikes are completed according to Company SOPs.

Proven experience with change management at an organizational level

Knowledge of current trends, legislation, acts and regulations in safety, security, and labour/management issues

Recommending risk management measures for protection of college clients, staff and property

Experience as a senior leader in policing or security is preferred.

Experience making presentations regarding investigations, safety, and security

Experience working in a matrix environment, building/managing relationships with senior leaders

Strong organization and time management skills

Knowledge of construction safety and current Federal and OSHA requirements

Monitor all construction work for compliance with environmental health and safety requirements.

Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety (OSHA) or equivalent training/work experience

Effective written and verbal communication skills

Experience with the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
