Robotics Simulation Technician Jobs

Successful completion of a Simulation instructor program or equivalent combination of knowledge and experience.

Three (3) years of experience working in an educator role with experience in simulation-based learning is required.

Experience in leading projects or displaying leadership in the workplace is required.

Experience with professional organizations, interprofessional teams, and diverse learner groups is essential.

5+ years experience in robotics engineering

Experience with Siemens Process Simulate simulation software

Experience with Robcad and/or Delmia simulation software is a plus

Design experience should include familiarity with automation, welding and joining lines, and robotics

Working knowledge of programming software, Microsoft Office, and AutoCAD

2+ years of people management experience

3+ years of project management experience

Robotics engineering or automation project management experience

8+ years of progressive robotics integration engineering experience

Several years of hands-on experience working on/engineering weld-based robots

Specific robotics experience with FANUC and ABB robots

Must have basic computer skills and knowledge of computerized PM and Work Order systems.

Uses a good knowledge of PLC logic/programming to aid in troubleshooting and repair.

Must have experience with automated lines and pallet conveyor systems.

Knowledge of Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and communications to Robot controls.

Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Makes adjustments in Robotic program when required and participates in improving efficiency and cycle times.

Acquire and maintain skills and knowledge related to existing and newly acquired technologies used in the CSL

Set up, maintain and operate high-fidelity simulation based lab activities.

Troubleshoot and resolve problems with simulation equipment

Demonstrate the technical aspects of operating simulators to faculty members and others

Develop cost, equipment requirements, timing implementation schedules, training, area layouts and manpower requirements

Minimum 3 years experience in Robotics and Automation

Minimum 3 years experience in Design and Fabrication

Experience using computer engineering applications (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc)

Knowledge of ISO9001:2008 and TS16949:2009 quality systems

Working knowledge of materials, tooling, machine tools, and/or manufacturing processes.

Integrate controls systems into production facilities by communicating with upstream and downstream equipment and data management systems

Write reports, user and maintenance manuals, procedures, and qualification protocols

Three (3) to eight (8) years of relevant industry experience

Strong computer skills and excellent oral and written communication skills

Design, program, and test automation solutions on our shop floor

Travel to customer sites to commission and support systems

· 5+ years over all development experience 2+ years of Automation Anywhere Development Experience

· Must have strong analytical, problem solving and documentation skills; motivated and ambitious

Minimum 2-3 years of job experience working in a technical field

Minimum 1 years’ experience with welding—i.e. spot welding and/or MIG welding

Basic knowledge of electricity and pneumatics

Maintaining and improving equipment efficiencies

Troubleshooting PLC’s and programming robots

Must be able to work overtime on short notice and work during shutdown periods

7+ years' experience in electrical and/or controls engineering related work; Robotic and Servo motor experience preferred

Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs, HMIs, and Powerflex drives

Working knowledge of Factory Talk Studio

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Develop electrical field installation scopes of work

Create/interpret electrical schematics, panel layouts, termination diagrams, and field wiring pull schedules in accordance with NEC, NFPA, and UL specifications
