Overview of Restaurant Management Restaurant Management is a challenging and rewarding career that involves overseeing the daily operations of a restaurant. Restaurant Managers are responsible for ensuring that the restaurant runs smoothly and efficiently, while providing excellent customer service. They must be able to manage staff, handle customer complaints, and ensure that the restaurant meets all health and safety regulations. Detailed Job Description of Restaurant Management The primary responsibility of a Restaurant Manager is to ensure that the restaurant runs smoothly and efficiently. This includes managing staff, handling customer complaints, and ensuring that the restaurant meets all health and safety regulations. Restaurant Managers must also be able to manage the restaurant’s finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and analyzing financial statements. They must also be able to develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new customers and increase sales.
