Overview:
Residence Counsellors are responsible for providing support and guidance to students living in residence halls. They are responsible for creating a safe and supportive environment for students, and for helping them to develop the skills necessary to succeed in their academic and personal lives. They also provide guidance on a variety of topics, such as conflict resolution, time management, and study skills. Residence Counsellors must be able to work with a diverse group of students and be able to respond to their needs in a timely and effective manner. How To Become an Residence Counsellors jobs ? To become a Residence Counsellor, you will need to have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as psychology, social work, or education. You may also need to have experience working with young adults, such as through a volunteer or internship program. Additionally, you may need to have a valid driver’s license and be able to pass a background check.
