Interface and interact with the Government Engagement, GHG Abatement, and Finance Readiness Workstreams, as well as the Project Development Group.

Possess a minimum of 15+ years of experience in the Refining & Chemicals business with a focus on integration.

Have previous experience in Project Engineering, Design, and Execution.

Experience presenting to Corporate and Executive Management, the Board of Directors, and wider audiences.

Advise and guide the development of Downstream strategic goals and plans to the CEO and members of Corporate and Executive Management.

Experience in at least two of the following Downstream areas: Chemicals (preferred), refining, retail and fuels, and trading.

Global or multinational business experience with developed multicultural sensitivity.

Must have experience developing and delivering strategic insights, investment and market analysis, and business strategies for a major integrated downstream business.

Experience in leading and managing multidisciplinary teams to deliver business strategies and plans is desirable.

Excellent collaboration, communication and stakeholder management skills are critical to the role due to the multitude of stakeholders.

Process engineering focal point for turnaround MOC work including decontamination systems, temporary nitrogen facilities, temporary waste management systems etc.

Safeguarding/HAZOP/Process Safety Review/Hazard and Effects Management Process exposure is an asset

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering with 10+ years of experience.

Experience in managing small projects/MOCs of a multidisciplinary nature.

A strong process engineering technical background with process knowledge of upgrading operations is desirable.

Guide management in selecting the best configurations for LTC (Long-Term Contracts) project cases, considering the financial implications.

Demonstrate strong experience in Chemicals derivative process licensor selection and technology analysis, which is a critical deliverable for the division.

Have a minimum of 15 years of experience in the Refining & Chemicals business.

Demonstrate previous experience in Linear Programming (LP) and Economics Modeling.

Apply knowledge of economic principles and optimization techniques in refining and chemicals operations.

Provide technical input to Linear Programming (LP) and economics modeling.

Actively participate in a knowledge sharing network

Minimum of 10-15 years of experience with a petrochemical or refining licensor, including developing licensing agreements and procurement strategies.

Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and networking skills.

Lead activities related to the technology licensing process and procurement

Provide technical support for capital projects involving petrochemical units at various stages of execution (pre-feasibility, feasibility, basic and detailed engineering)

Lead the strategic evaluation of licensing agreements

Strong chemicals and steam cracker operational experience.

Relevant professional certifications such as Certified Financial Analyst (CFA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), and/or Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) are beneficial.

Prepares, reviews, and presents briefs and presentations to the Management Committee.

Assists in the technical development and economic justification of capital programs, as well as exploring alternative options for proposed capital projects.

Collaborates with other departments to identify growth opportunities and leverage synergies between assets.

Conducts studies to identify margin improvement opportunities in current refining and chemicals assets, considering the competitive landscape and market fundamentals.

Supports sustainability projects aligned with environmental standards and decarbonization targets.

Knowledge and experience in chemicals derivative process licensor selection and technology analysis.

Coordinate remote support from additional Process Specialists, as needed, to assist with licensor selection and technical basis-setting.

Minimum of 15+ years of experience in the Refining & Chemicals business with a focus on integration.

Previous experience in Project Engineering, Design, and Execution for chemicals plants.

Experience in Olefins and Polymers technical services.

Operational experience in Olefins and Polymers.

Ability to make clear, effective presentations to communicate recommendations to customers and management.

Refinery process technology knowledge/design experience an asset.

Process simulation skills/experience an asset.
