Rail Track Maintainer Jobs

Support MDP processes (participating in analyzes, requirements from 5’ briefing treated or upgraded…)

Methods and practices applied (job performed in safety, quality, respect of instruction,…)

Sustain equipment compliance (standard, cleanliness, cycle time, influent parameters,…)

Interventions are encoded, documented, and analyzed

Effectiveness of all interventions (prevent breakdowns, cure the default within an optimized time,collaboration with Production, Quality, ...)

Efficiency of all interventions (resources used, consumption of spare parts, sustained energy efficiency of equipment)

Minimum of 1- the year of work experience in the Mechanical and Electrical maintenance field.

Experience using power tools and hand tools.

Good English reading, writing, and speaking skills are required.

Complete interior and exterior inspections of the coach, including all subsystems and safety equipment.

Inspect equipment and complete repairs to ensure that locomotives and coaches are adequately prepared for dispatch.

Dumping and charging of coach toilets and unclog blockages as needed. Fill the water tank and glycol tank.

Minimum of 1- the year of work experience in the Mechanical and Electrical maintenance field.

Experience using power tools and hand tools.

Good English reading, writing, and speaking skills are required.

Movement of rail equipment as required. The employee must possess a valid Alstom equipment operator’s certificate for moving rail equipment.

Assuring machine performance and sustain equipment compliance within their area of responsibility;

Providing technical support to production operations and participating on high performance teams.

Successful prior completion of a technical program;

Capable of working 12-hour shifts, including night shifts and weekends;

Ability to make effective decisions and solve problems; and

Possess or able to secure eRailsafe, CROR, and First Aid/CPR certifications

Perform labouring tasks involved in support services for a class 1 railway

Dump ballast from railcars and distribute on tracks

Use track tools safely and efficiently

Participate in daily job briefings

Transport the team to and from various locations; load the equipment and secure for transport
