Overview: Quick Response Occupational Therapists provide short-term, intensive interventions to help individuals with physical, mental, and/or emotional disabilities to improve their functioning and quality of life. They work with clients to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on improving physical, cognitive, and psychosocial functioning. How To Become an Quick Response Occupational Therapist: To become a Quick Response Occupational Therapist, you must have a master’s degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program and be licensed in your state. You must also have experience working with individuals with disabilities, and be knowledgeable about the principles of occupational therapy. Quick Response Occupational Therapist Skills: Quick Response Occupational Therapists must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills. They must also be organized and detail-oriented, and have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
