Quality Process Specialist Jobs

Minimum Knowledge & Skills Required

· Liaising with other discipline engineers to ensure designs conform to process requirements.

· Collaborate with all managers on quality and improvement opportunities.

· WCM, Kaizen, or Lean Six Sigma experience.

· Excellent problem-solving capabilities and the ability to work independently on assigned tasks.

· ASQ-CQE certification would be an asset.

Strong interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication skills, analytical and problem-solving skills, project management skill and knowledge.

Perform Internal Audit on business and manufacturing processes, check the effectiveness of Quality Management System

Provide project management expertise using World Class Manufacturing principles in support of process-oriented capital and manufacturing improvement projects.

Create NCR reports (Non-Conformity Report) for non-conforming quality problems internally and externally, manage root cause investigation meeting and activities

Minimum 8 years of experience in Quality Engineering and/or Process Engineering in manufacturing environment

Prior training and experience with World Class Manufacturing, or Lean Manufacturing and ISO9001:2015, Continuous Improvement, 5S, Six Sigma preferred.

Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (ISO)

Supports the QA department in maintaining QMS certifications

Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills

Strong organizational and analytical skills

Strong computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel

Strong communication skills including technical or procedural writing

Collaborates with the Risk Management Team in the conduct and documentation of process risk analyses

Supports production change control activities, including development and maintenance of manufacturing process requirements and control plans

Proven experience with taking the lead with troubleshooting techniques, problem-solving, and root cause analysis

A sound knowledge of statistics, SPC, FMEA, and process capability is strongly desirable

Proven written and verbal communication and technical documentation skills

University degree. Engineer is preferred. Project management skills with statistical knowledge could be an alternative.

Ability to develop, analyze and interpret statistical records is necessary. JUMP software capability is a requirement.

Supporting the QTP and "Quality Performance Review Corrective Action" processes with the Consumer response coordinator

Participating in setting priority issues for each Quality performance review meeting, preparing the agenda and maintaining the Action Plan

Analyzing consumer & customer complaints to identify and characterize positive and/or negative trends, and reporting them to stakeholders

Ensuring the Company’s Rapid Response & Retrieval (RRR) Process is kept current and all documentation is updated on a quarterly basis.

Work in partnership with on-shift managers to evaluate and manage quality performance trends.

Teach, mentor and provide feedback to production technicians regarding internal process and product specs as well as customer requirements.

At least 1 year of manufacturing experience is required

Strong interpersonal and communications skills.

Give clear and concise technical guidance. Manage/deflect/diffuse conflict. Lead in finding alternative solutions.

Personal computer skills in a networked environment (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.)
