Ensuring finished concrete products meet the quality standards set by the Company or PCI or CPCI

Inspection experience in a shipbuilding setting considered an asset

Strong working knowledge of MS Office suite, SharePoint

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

Experience with industrial piping installations, including weld inspection and hydro testing

Minimum high school diploma, community college diploma or university bachelor's degree would be considered an asset

Ability to deal with conflict in a professional manner

Knowledgeable in ASME Code, B&PV plus Nuclear, CWB experience, and other Technical Standards and Codes associated with the project

Support site QC activities associated with the project requirements

Graduate secondary school education in welding technology, QA/QC or a related discipline at the University or College level

Previous experience in receiving inspections and controls within a Nuclear Qualified Program would be considered an asset

Good communication and organizational skills

Able to effectively interact with people at all levels of the organization with view to implementing quality requirements and objectives

Read and interpret production drawings and specifications - to identify quality requirements

Understanding of weld processes, symbols and testing requirements

Technical Diploma or equivalent experience required;

Applicable trade certifications considered an asset;

5 years' experience in quality control

Computer knowledge with a focus on Microsoft office products;

Monitors currency of welder qualification records and certifications

Diploma in Quality or Engineering or C.E.T or trade certification/related experience

Ensures compliance with code standards and requirements (i.e. ASME B31.1 and B31.3, B51, CSA)

Intimate knowledge of various Q.A./Q.C. code

High School Diploma or Equivalent recommended or comparable work experience

Act as an impartial third party between the production source and the customer facility to ensure the product meets set criteria

Check/inspect manufactured parts or products for defects

Read and follow work instructions and general processes

Use measuring or testing equipment as needed

Write and distribute findings and inspection reports to project management and relevant stakeholders.

3+ years of experience in electrical quality control inspection preferred.

Inspection experience within the Marine sector, waterways, break walls, Wharf and or Terminal/Ports

Knowledge of relevant industry electrical codes, standards, and regulations.

Experience with industrial electrical installations, including running of cable and installation of electrical equipment.

Industrial/ Construction Electrician trade certification (Red Seal/Journeyperson)

Inspection experience in a shipbuilding setting considered an asset

Strong working knowledge of MS Office suite, SharePoint

Experience with industrial electrical installations, including running of cable and installation of electrical equipment

Inspect completed and in progress work though job pack checks

Verify rectification of defects identified during ITP inspections
