2+ years’ experience in a manufacturing/warehousing environment

BRC is seeking a passionate candidate possessing the following experience and competencies:

Performing routine quality assessments on manufactured materials and outgoing products

Measure product dimensions, examine the functionality of products, and compare the final products to ensure standards are met.

Documenting inspection findings and completing detailed reports and performance records

Educating the production team on quality control processes, including acceptance/rejection criteria, quality concerns, or any possible health and safety concerns

Inspect/monitor aircraft records for compliance with CARs and MCM requirements.

Follow-up to ensure correctable items are in process and tracked to completion within company policies, regulatory requirements, and acceptable timelines.

5 years’ experience performing or supervising maintenance activities in the aviation industry.

Strong communication skills (interpersonal, listening, verbal and written).

Knowledge of Q-Pulse and/or similar computer tracking systems will be considered an asset.

Results focused, able to manage a large volume of administrative tasks involving highly detailed technical information.

Experience in data Entry and activities that requires attention to detail

Quality Assurance approach – certified or experienced

Maintain records of acceptance and certificate of inspection as per Customer Requirements

Filing and maintain Data records as instructed by by Quality Manager

Other duties as assigned by manager

Responsible for Quality Inspections for products and processes

Technical Education (WET or MET) or Journeyman certification an asset

Verification of material condition, grade, and specification to ensure compliance with drawings and/or other specific requirements.

Experience in reviewing isometric drawings.

Knowledge of various codes of construction (ASME B31.3, CSA B149.1)

Excellent and proven organizational skill to meet multiple deadlines and handle multiple tasks within a high-pressure work environment.

Willingness to continually learn and advance technical knowledge.

Excellent computer skills and experience, including Microsoft Office, CAD/CAM.

Manages, delegate and oversees work in: incoming inspection, in-process inspection,

Maintain qualifications for inspectors and technicians.

Minimum 5 years’ experience in metrology, with a preference for prior experience in a certified trade

Experience in welding and/or weld inspection.

Experience in CMM programming and operation including PCDMIS software.

Familiarity with principles of a quality management system ISO 9001.

Reviewing drawings, blueprints, and specifications to understand the design requirements of products

Strong technical knowledge in understanding the assembly drawings and identifying linked components into large Bill of Materials.

Must have a strong command of the English language, both written and verbal, and strong communication skills.

Attention to detail and ability to prioritize and manage time on multiple simultaneous projects.

Measuring product dimensions, examining the functionality of products, and comparing the final products to see if standards are met

· Maintain necessary tools/products to carry out responsibilities, including AOI, X-ray machine, multi-meter, and other test/verification tools.

Electronics/ Mechanical Engineering Degree/Diploma with 3+ years experience as SMT Quality technologist/technician.

4. Previous experience with other standards (MIL, Aerospace, Automotive) is also a plus

5. Excellent verbal & written communication skills.

Inspect to IPC-A-600-REV F and IPC-A-610-REV C Standards

ISO procedures and QC standards is a plus

Experience inspecting fabricated and welding parts

Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

Secondary school certification. Diploma in any field preferred

Adhere to all safety and environmental guidelines, policies and procedures

Safe setup parts for inspection to the latest drawings

Document all Non-Conformances in the system.
