Quality Control Coordinator Jobs in Ontario

Support development, management, and optimization of products in compliance with relevant codes, standards and specifications.

Coordinate required tracking and testing protocols with Operations to ensure production staff is aligned and keeping up with requirements.

Manage and lead Quality Incident investigation process, troubleshooting, and corrective actions.

Assist in administrative activities and ensure all documentation is updated in order to maintain Concrete Ontario Certification.

Post-secondary education in Civil Engineering/Technology or equivalent

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a RMX Concrete or similar setting

• Must demonstrate good organizational and time management skills with the ability to self-manage

Manage project documentation, including contracts, drawings, purchase orders (PO), shop drawings, all correspondence, equipment deliveries, etc.

Development of purchase order documentation for Vendors and Subcontractors based on quotations and project requirements

Support field staff and projects using technical skills and equipment as required/as skillset supports

• 3+ years of PCO or PM experience is a must

Prepares Request for Information (RFI), generates change order and/or work orders

Construction industry (Concrete, Steel, Asphalt) knowledge and experience would be considered an asset.

Ability to liaise and form positive relationship with all levels of employees and management.

BSc Engineering in Civil or CET education an asset.

ISO 9001 Quality Control Internal Auditing Certification an asset.

1 year’ experience in infrastructure as a minimum.

Profound knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, Access, Power Point.
