This is a full time, 1-year contract opportunity with a potential for extension, located in North York.

Support Quality Inspectors in order to ensure products and processes comply with the relevant quality management system requirements

Assist with the management of the AS9100 Quality Management System, including conducting training and documentation reviews and audits.

Experience in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma (Green or Black belt Certification is an asset)

Manage First Article Inspection Reporting (FAIR) processes, including submissions to customers and maintain change control verification of the FAI records.

Support the qualification and auditing of new and existing vendors

Meet the registration requirements of the Controlled Goods Program

You have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related technical field or have experience in lieu of a formal degree.

You interface with suppliers, internal and external customers to provide corrective actions (8D, GP5).

Working knowledge and experience with Quality Management and Continuous Improvement from Lean and Six Sigma

Participate in ISO9001 and Customer Product and Quality Management Audits

Knowledge and experience in the use of Quality Control Tools, Quality Assurance Principles/Methodologies and its application
