Provide crisis management/intervention and assist in the development of crisis plans for clients.

Crisis intervention skills, with well-developed problem solving abilities and interpersonal skills.

Experience in group counselling related to mental health, addictions and related issues.

Good oral and written communication skills and computer literacy, including MS word and Excel.

Counselling, responding and assessment skills.

Knowledge of community resources and support.

Effective interpersonal, time management and organizational skills.

Provide case management services to clients over a specified period.

Personal knowledge and lived experience of issues that affect communities and populations served by WoodGreen is a strong asset.

Ability in case management, system navigation, service planning, implementation, and coordination, therapeutic or supportive counselling.

Knowledge of and experience with a brief therapy modality, such as Narrative, Solution-Focused, Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy), etc.

Participate in ongoing training and education.

3+ years of related experience in geriatrics and/or social work.
