Function: Accounting/Transaction Management/System Day Close

Prepare monthly KPI reports, process documentation and evidence to support internal and external control requirements and audit reviews

Department: Retail Front-Office & Mid-Office, Supply & Logistics; Commercial Finance, Corporate Reporting

Monitor and process daily EDI files from client and third-party terminals

Process daily, weekly, and monthly invoicing to customers

Reconcile AP invoices at a transactional level and submit for payment

Bachelor's degree in marketing or management, MBA is an asset.

Extensive business and industry experience, financial skills and understanding of the Canadian electrical distribution and retail market is an asset.

Product development experience is an asset.

You are accountable for the long-term profitable growth of the portfolio of products.

Proven ability to demonstrate the value of digital and develop strategies to increase digital sales.

Two years experience in assisting with trades-related work in institutional buildings required.

Complete Grade 12 education, Manitoba standards, required.

Current Manitoba Drivers License required.

Good physical and mental health and manual dexterity required.

Must be able to withstand periods of strenuous activity.

Job requires heavy lifting, bending, and working form scaffolds, high level platforms and in confined spaces and enclosures

Leadership and Customer Relationship Management skills

Provide management with suggestions for improving volume market share and price levels

Identify and resolve more complex problems and apply problem-solving skills in order to deal with most situations

Perform client presentations articulating the value proposition of product solution service offerings

Technical Degree (preferred) or equivalent experience

Ideally 5-8 years of successful sales experience in power distribution market

Minimum of 7-10 years of demonstrated general management, product management or product marketing experience in a SaaS environment.

Foster a strong relationship with Product Management, collaborating closely to build a roadmap that aligns with business objectives and market needs.

Proven track record of building strong relationships with Product Management teams to develop and execute product roadmaps.

Experience building business cases, defining business requirements and OKR/KPI’s

Lead and manage a portfolio of assigned emerging products and business services, acting as a business within the main company structure.

Utilize previous experience owning products and P&L to drive the go-to-market activity, including pricing and packaging optimization for these emerging products.

Accountable for the successful P&L management of the products within the digital products portfolio, including Payments, identity and Open Banking

Established experience in identifying upcoming challenges and setting long-term goals.

Experience in holding positions involved in the overall functional direction at a Corporate level.

Knowledge of the levels of authority and decision in client organizations.

On-going knowledge of the evolution and changes in critical fields or environments that impact the organization.

An Actuary with Automobile Product Management and Pricing experience with history of developing top performing P&C portfolios

A minimum of 10+ years of experience in a product management, pricing, underwriting including successful people leadership experience

Develops existing and attracts new industry leading talent in Pricing and Product Management

Demonstrated leadership and people management with the ability to build and maintain effective teams and relationships in a complex matrix environment

Considers market trends and the competition's various marketing strategies to offer effective recommendations for product positioning and pricing

Manages strategic internal and external stakeholders

Product management – ongoing review of product line and evaluate competitive status, (marketing mix 4Ps, product, price, place, promotion).

Post-secondary education is a must and preference will be given to those with an undergraduate degree.

Demonstrated experience within all aspects of product management including: scope, schedule, financial, and risk management. for products.

Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.

Preparing plans, charts, tables and diagrams to assist in analyzing or displaying problems; work with a variety of product management tools.

Preparing and presenting technical and management documents.

Stakeholder and communications management in a product context.

Product management in the field of Firepower, ISR, C4ISR, or Modelling and Simulation.

Minimum Bachelor's degree with a preference to Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Business Analytics, Data Insight Management

2 years experience in Sales or Sales Strategy or Revenue Growth Management

Strong planning and project management skills.

5 years of finance experience in CPG or retail industry

Solution-focused attitude & change management mindset; demonstrated willingness to challenge the status-quo

Contributes to new product introduction in relation to portfolio management and pricing and promotion architecture.

Work with software engineers, product managers, and other QA testers in an Agile team environment

2+ years of QA/Development experience

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Experience in Python or other object-oriented programming language like Java

Experience with Atlassian products like Jira is an advantage

Experience in a SaaS environment that has an agile development process is a huge plus
