Product Operations Leader Jobs in Ontario

This person will report to the Factory Manager and serve as a key member of the leadership team.

Ten or more years of production experience in a manufacturing environment

Minimum five years in a supervisory or managerial role

Knowledge and exposure to TPM, Six Sigma, and various problem-solving methodologies

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Lead a team of associates to achieve production metrics in a manner consistent with our culture and values.

Some experience with inventory management, product or visual merchandising, stocking, or planning and logistics including using business technology to accomplish work

Engage team members in inventory management by creating a fun and productive atmosphere for the shift.

Proactively plan, prioritize, manage, and lead inventory processing and accuracy activities in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).

1 year of work experience

Some experience in leading, mentoring, delegating or process implementation with others

Education: High school diploma/GED/equivalent, or above

Some experience with inventory management, product or visual merchandising, stocking, or planning and logistics including using business technology to accomplish work

1 year of work experience

Some experience in leading, mentoring, delegating or process implementation with others

Education: High school diploma/GED/equivalent, or above

Support business unit growth while continuing to build and lead a strong team of people with cross-functional responsibilities

Experience in the Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) industry or related industry is required

Understanding of lean, continuous improvement, quality and related topics, with relevant work experience

Related post-secondary business education degree or equivalent is preferred

Superior communication skills, both written and verbal

Responsible for the business unit’s operations capacity planning and resources

Assists in identifying the resource and material costs/requirements for the project

Provides support to entire product team on required purchases of materials, test equipment, and facility requirements

Post-secondary education, engineering degree is an asset.

PMI Certification is an asset

Familiarity with the product development process and the associated requirements of manufacturing.

Strong knowledge of PM tools.

Multi-tasking and time management skills.

Sound overall knowledge of regulatory rules, policies, procedures in the areas of GMP, Quality, Environmental Management and Health & Safety.

Experience and aptitude for equipment, problem solving skills and the ability to think on one's feet in a fast-paced environment.

Supporting the optimization of production in compliance with product quality specifications and food safety requirements to meet production targets.

Challenge the status quo by offering ideas to make things better, faster and with value creation in mind

Foundational knowledge and understanding of Lean Six Sigma and Continuous Improvement principles.
