New Product Industrialization Engineer Jobs

Project Management Certificate, LEAN Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification are important assets

Technical understanding of production planning techniques, a basic understanding of quality management standards, lean manufacturing, and safety requirements/laws

Prepare economic analysis and comparisons to provide management with information to use in decision-making processes.

Collaborate with workers and managers to reduce downtime, maintain efficient use of labour, and achieve objectives set for the plant.

Degree in Engineering or College Diploma / Certification in a technical trade

5 years experience in a manufacturing/production plant environment

Backend service experience in multiple, managed languages such as Java, Scala, Go, C#, or similar

6+ years of professional software development experience

Experience designing and delivering highly-available, scalable cloud-based systems

Experience working with SQL or NoSQL data stores

Experience with Java, Golang or Scala programming is a plus

Lead engineering architecture design reviews

Engineering/Technical background in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial engineering (other relevant education and experiences will be considered);

3 years practical experience in plastic part design, mold design or automation industry with knowledge of the following areas:

Excellent interpersonal skills in formal and informal contexts;

Prepare RFQ (Request for Quote) packages for new tooling, End of arm tools, automation equipment etc.

Preparation of Cavity Layouts and basic mold concepts for RFQ packages

Design reviews and approvals with mold shop producing tooling
