Power Electronics Hardware Validation Engineer Jobs in Nova Scotia

Assist in the creation and management of ILS requirements, including technical manuals and other supporting documentation

Minimum of five (5) years of project management experience

Advanced knowledge of project management tools and software, including Microsoft Office Suite

Excellent technical writing, planning, and project management skills

Excellent time management skills and is able to set and achieve goals and objectives

Project management of a wide variety of electrical design activities of varying scope and scale

Application knowledge and system design experience of industrial motor/drive systems.

Working knowledge of failure modes and experience with troubleshooting subsystems and components of AC drives.

Experience with PWM techniques and knowledge of motor control algorithms.

Demonstrate excellent technical, oral and written communication skills, and work effectively in a team environment.

Knowledge of electrical system design principles adhering to IEC/UL standards for industrial control panels.

Experience with power converter topologies for DC and AC motor drives – non-regenerative and regenerative rectifiers, inverters, switch-mode power supplies.
