Power Electronics Developer Jobs

Assist in the creation and management of ILS requirements, including technical manuals and other supporting documentation

Minimum of five (5) years of project management experience

Advanced knowledge of project management tools and software, including Microsoft Office Suite

Excellent technical writing, planning, and project management skills

Excellent time management skills and is able to set and achieve goals and objectives

Project management of a wide variety of electrical design activities of varying scope and scale

Well organized, good time management and ability to work on several concurrent projects

Education: Electrical Engineering degree (Master’s or PhD considered an asset)

Experience: minimum 5 years’ experience in power electronics

Development of high power (1kW+) switching power systems and experience with 600VAC systems required

Desire to learn, drive to expand knowledge

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

· Design, model and simulate power and control circuits, using PSIM, LTSpice and other EDA tools.

· Troubleshoot EMI/EMC and participate in external lab testing process.

· Preparing technical documentations (including BOMs and test procedures) as part of introducing products to manufacturing.

· Schematic entry using Altium Designer and familiar with PCB design.

· Familiar with 3D modeling (Solid Works is an advantage).

3+ years of hands-on experience designing and developing electronic systems.

Experience from several relevant construction projects is advantageous.

Experience delivering Medical devices to IEC 60601, IEC 62304, ISO 13485 standards or equivalent.

Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a team environment.

Responsible for identifying and fixing problems with the electronic systems and software applications they develop.

Creates documentation for electronic systems and software applications, including design documents, user manuals, and technical specifications.

3+ years of hands-on experience designing and developing electronic systems.

Experience from several relevant construction projects is advantageous.
