Overall project governance of the Service and Implementation Project portfolio and Project Management System.

Delivers projects according to the parameters, timelines and budgets discussed and agreed on by senior management.

Ensures Initiatives team adherence to the Project Management Process (sponsorship, project plans, escalations, impact analyses etc..).

Formulates senior management presentations, communicating project updates, and Initiatives team performance to Leadership, discussing important project variables on a continuous basis.

Recruits, attracts and retains project team resources supporting and leveraging associate development within the project experience.

Excellent knowledge of project management strategies, processes, and tools.

Maintain all management agreements and prepare reports.

Minimum of 3 year's experience as a PMO analyst, project manager, or a similar role.

Bachelor's degree in project management, or a similar field.

Analyze all data and project deliverables and ensure adherence to all timeframe and budget requirements.

Manage and recommend required improvements to all project methodologies.

Project Management Certifications, such as PMP, PgMP, CAPM or comparable are considered an asset

5+ years of professional experience in project and change management, and at least 2 years’ experience supervising a team

Expert-level knowledge of Project Management associated methodologies, techniques, processes, and approaches

Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines

Creating and managing cross-functional plans, collaborating cross-functionally with internal teams (and external vendors if applicable) to define requirements and manage timelines

The full life cycle and management of the project governance processes, including project intake, review, assignment and closure

3+ years consulting experience, or 5+ years of relevant project management experience

Project Management Certification is strongly desired

Addressing problems through risk management and contingency planning, and presenting solutions and/or alternatives

Providing daily project updates to the Management Team

Using formal processes and tools to manage resources, tasks, and changes

Maintaining high-level knowledge of projects’ life cycle and portfolio

Someone who can take good minutes of the meeting and manage timelines and also create executive presentations for reporting.

Maintain and further enhance reports based on understanding of stakeholder and regulatory requirements

Participate in projects to implement any new or changing PMO or internal client reporting requirements and enhance the reporting system infrastructure

10 years of demonstrated work experience in producing high quality executive reports (preferably for technology organizations)

Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills

Utilize project management tools and provides project status tracking and metrics

Identify and maintain the key project and business critical milestones making sure they’re regularly updated and ready for senior management reporting

Utilize proficient Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills to provide effective reporting and documentation including dashboards and scorecards

Excellent oral and written communication skills necessary to effectively communicate issues, risks and progress on complex processes to multiple stakeholders

4-6 years experience working in a PMO environment

Experience with SDLC processes for Iterative/Agile/Waterfall methodologies

• Strong leadership and management skills

• Significant experience using JIRA to manage Sprints and project delivery.

• Ability to work positively with the wide range of individuals involved in program management

Director, Project Management & Continuous Improvement

Lean six sigma certification is an asset

Retail or healthcare experience an asset

8+ years related Project Management and Agile field experience

Demonstrated client relationship management skills

Define project, tasks, assign responsibility and estimate resource skills and requirements in a detailed project plan

Monitor progress, summarize, and communicate status and vision to client management and stakeholders

Plan, prepare for and manage cutover and change management activities for go live readiness

Plan and manage transition from project state to operational by enabling appropriate knowledge transfer and delivering relevant supporting project documentation
