Plc Control Engineer Jobs

Test malfunctioning machinery and discusses malfunction with management options available to correct problem

Any other reasonable request by management

Maintenance and troubleshooting experience with presses

Must be able to communicate issues/problems to supervisor or manager

Good organizational skills, ability to work well without supervision

Industrial Trade certification as Industrial Electrician 442A and/or PLC certification

Meet with Project managers to discuss project requirements and timelines

Develop new programs and modify existing programs/systems to meet customer design requirements.

Preference given to a Licensed Electrician with 2 years PLC programming experience or graduate of Robotics and Automation Technology program.

You have experience creating graphical interfaces using - Factory Talk View, C-more, Indusoft

You have a get it done attitude and are skilled at removing barriers

On-site apprenticeship and skill development programs

Effective planning, project management, and problem-solving skills

Lead or participate in development or enhancement to design management and engineering change control programs and procedures

Control projects in an economical and timely manner ensuring adherence to quality control requirements

Post-secondary degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering with at least 2 years of full-time experience

Experience with PLC automation and networks

Excellent written and oral communication skills including strong presentation and analytical skills
