Overview The Planning Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the planning and scheduling of production activities in a manufacturing or industrial environment. The Planning Supervisor ensures that production processes are completed efficiently and on time, and that the necessary resources are available to complete the tasks. The Planning Supervisor is also responsible for monitoring and analyzing production data to identify areas of improvement. Detailed Job Description The Planning Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the planning and scheduling of production activities in a manufacturing or industrial environment. The Planning Supervisor is responsible for developing and implementing production plans that are in line with the company’s goals and objectives. The Planning Supervisor is also responsible for monitoring and analyzing production data to identify areas of improvement. The Planning Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that production processes are completed efficiently and on time, and that the necessary resources are available to complete the tasks. The Planning Supervisor is also responsible for coordinating with other departments to ensure that production plans are properly executed. Job Skills Required• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Knowledge of production processes and procedures
• Knowledge of safety regulations and quality control standards
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other related software
Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in a production planning or scheduling role
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Knowledge
• Knowledge of production processes and procedures
• Knowledge of safety regulations and quality control standards
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other related software
Job Experience
• 5+ years of experience in a production planning or scheduling role
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Experience in developing and implementing production plans
• Experience in monitoring and analyzing production data
