Part Time Climbing Instructor Jobs

Implement and manage an effective compensation system;

Experience in the contemporary music scene, in a variety of musical styles, as a performer and/or educator.

Drum set one-on-one lessons with drum majors in the Applied Music program.

Potentially teach a drum masterclass for drum majors in the Applied Music program.

Provide fully inclusive programming to participants of all abilities and skill levels.

Must hold an approved group fitness instructor qualification, format specific certification (CANFIT PRO etc.).

Provide an enthusiastic and exciting fitness experience.

Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.

Previous experience in program planning, development, and implementation for specific age group.

A satisfactory Police Record Check including Vulnerable Sector Check is required at time of offer.

Demonstrated knowledge/experience in indoor climbing

Demonstrated knowledge / experience in Ninja or Parkour Courses

1 – 2 years instructional experience preferred

High Five Principles of Healthy Child Development or Sport Certification, considered an asset

Exceptional customer service and communication skills

To ensure that all safety procedures and opening and closing check lists are completed, before and after programs.

Knowledge of applicable health and safety legislation, including the rights and duties of workers

Offer alternatives and options to participants

Minimum Of 6 Months Of Experience Or Equivalent Apprenticeship

Corporate and Departmental policies, guidelines and directives

City of Ottawa emergency response procedures

Able to handle the stress of an emergency situation
