A minimum of one (1) year directly related experience with parks and/or grounds maintenance;
A minimum of one (1) year demonstrated experience operating vehicles over 11,000 k.g., G.V.W., including tandem axle trucks;
Strong reasoning, numerical, technical, analytical and researching skills to ensure work is completely safely and accurately;
A well-developed interpersonal and public relations skills to appropriately respond to residents concerns and establish positive working relationships with all staff;
a minimum of one (1) year directly related experience with parks and/or grounds maintenance;

By City of Mississauga At Mississauga, Ontario, Canada
Degree or Diploma in Parks and Recreation Management, Business Administration, Horticulture or a related field; or combination of experience and education.
Strong knowledge of park management principles, including maintenance practices, programming, and customer service standards.
Demonstrated experience in budget management, resource allocation, and financial analysis.
Professional certifications in parks and recreation management or related fields are an asset.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and best practices in park management.
Stay up-to-date of emerging trends and best practices in parks and recreation management, continually seeking opportunities for innovation and improvement.
