Overnight Rehab Assistant Jobs

Assisting the Manager of Patient Care in dealing with confidential Human Resources and Finance related information and tasks.

Certificate courses in supervision/administration/management preferred.

A combination of education and experience may be considered.

Assisting the Manager of Patient Care with administrative functions and establishing priorities.

Assisting the Manager with the ongoing monitoring and analysis of operating budgets and expenditures.

Designing, formatting, collating, entering and compiling statistics and generating reports for the Manager of Patient Care.

Engage staff in problem solving, offering education, coaching, and mentoring in resolution of problems.

Work collaboratively with nursing team members to support clinical documentation and submission requirements according to specific funder reporting guidelines.

Proven experience leading and managing a team

Participates in quality activities and continuous improvement initiatives in keeping with the company's Quality Management System

Facilitates and implements educational and vocational re-integration as directed

Participates in ongoing internal and/or external continuing education activities

Implements rehabilitation program with the client as directed by the Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, Psychologist, and/or Speech and Language Pathologist

Promotes maximum independence of the client in the home, in the community, and at work to support re-integration into the community

Implements exercise programs or group exercise classes as directed

Must have current Registered Nurse Licensure

Successfully passed the National Council Licensure Exam-RN (NCLEX-RN)

Must obtain ACLS & American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) within 6 months of hire

$5,000.00 sign on bonus and $5,000.00 for relocation reimbursement.

Knowledge and/or experience working with individuals with mental health issues, dual diagnoses, behavioural issues, chronic pain, and addictions

Utilize appropriate Crisis and Behavioural Management strategies

Strong communication (oral and written) skills

Demonstrated knowledge of personal computers and proficiency with secure email

Commitment to continual learning, upgrading, and enhancing skills

Post-secondary studies in social sciences or healthcare related areas
