Operational Excellence Data Analyst Jobs

Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including operation, operational excellence, asset management, projects, engineering.

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field. Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g. CPA, CFA) is an asset.

Experience working in engineering, operation or as a project manager is an asset.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, timeline and expectations.

Update/Maintain fix and variables costs and work in collaboration with the asset finance team in integrating those logics into financial processes.

5 years experience as a financial analysis role in the mining or manufacturing sector.

Engage with operations and financial management to develop weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports in support of recurring business reviews

Knowledge and/or Experience with SCADA systems

Advanced experience with programming language (Python, Shiny, R preferred)

3-5 years of Wind industry experience

3-5 years of successful experience in database development and report creation

Experience with PowerBI and/or Tableau and/or Minitab or similar

Cooperate with other internal departments according to business needs and strategies of Sales, Supply Chain, IT, and Finance.

Minimum 2 years of experience in Manufacturing

Minimum 2 years of experience in a previous analytical, strategy, consulting, or research role

Excellent written and oral English skills; French language skills an asset

Excellent Microsoft Office suite skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

Strong influencing skills (up, down, across the organization)

Preparing reports for the management stating trends, patterns and predictions using Operational Risk data

Produce operational risks reports, operational risk appetite statement metrics and key risk indicators for SG Americas to Senior Management

Maintain the data source extracts to assist RISQ management in the monitoring and escalation of material operational risk incidents

Participate/coordinate in projects particularly focused on the automation enhancements and documentation for operational risk management reporting and metric production

Data interpretation, data modelling, data analysis, and dashboarding for production of management reporting

Experience working with large datasets and databases
