Strong programming skills in Python, with experience in deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.

2-4 + years of experience in machine learning research and development, with a focus on multi-modal, generative AI, and LLM applications.

Solid understanding of statistical modeling and analysis techniques, and experience with data visualization tools.

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Knowledge of specific applications such as drug discovery, knowledge synthesis will be a plus.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, data scientists, and product managers, to develop and deploy machine learning models and applications.

Coordinate with R&D Program Manager and other team members in establishing a world class research facility for specialized testing

10 years of relevant industrial or research experience

Minimum 5 years of Experience in advanced materials characterization, including scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, and electron backscatter diffraction

Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical testing, including tensile, fracture toughness, and fatigue testing

Minimum 3 years of experience with metallurgical modelling and/or related software (e.g., Thermo-Calc, JMatPro, etc.)

Strong English communication, presentation skills and the ability to work in a cross-functional team environment are required

Education: PhD (or MSc + experience) in biomedical engineering, tissue engineering, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, or related discipline

Cell Culture Experience: You have experience working with multiple primary or stem cell types

Develop a deep understanding of Aspect’s microfluidic 3D bioprinting technology and the ability to troubleshoot and innovate as a technical expert

Perform mammalian cell culture, bioink preparation, and other aseptic processes required for printing of bioprinted tissue therapeutics

Create and execute assays to characterize bioprinted constructs, involving techniques such as microscopy, ELISA, rheology, and mechanical testing

Maintain rigorous records of experimental procedures and results, prepare reports, and communicate findings to the team

Several years of experience building and shipping software using a variety of technology stacks, or equivalent experience

Experience identifying and justifying research goals in situations of ambiguity and executing towards those goals without explicit direction

Experience creating rapid prototypes that demonstrate a concept to stakeholders and enable decision making

Has held roles that deal with topics at the boundary of human knowledge regarding software development and developers

Have significant experience with machine learning, LLMs, and the rapidly-evolving landscape of techniques and tools used to build intelligence into products

Have significant experience with one or more backend technologies: server-side environments, compute, datastores, networking, infrastructure, devops, security, and programming languages

Experience in people management and the ability to lead and influence others.

Master’s degree (or higher) in Operations Research, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Management Information Systems, or similar field.

Machine Learning and data analytics experience and skills.

Five years’ experience in optimization solutions.

Working knowledge of C++ (11+, STL), object-oriented programming/design principles and patterns, SOLID, design patterns (Gang of Four)

Experience of enterprise software development and maintenance
