Ideally higher degree in relevant scientific area and formal project management qualification

Previous management and team leading skills are essential

Demonstrate a high level of strategic project management knowledge of development projects, from conception through all stages of development life cycle

Responsible for the management and leadership of the project managers that report directly to them

The role is accountable for the tracking and reporting of the team KPIs to the Head of Project Management

Project Management order book is up to date, accurate and that variations to the forecasts are managed and reported

Prioritizing/time management skill, ability to cope with multiple tasks

Project management / product management skills

7-10 years of related experience

3 years Post-Secondary or equivalent experience

Strong programming skills for CNC lathes, and other programmable equipment

Requires extensive knowledge of general machining practices

Working knowledge of logistics, and inventory management.

Other duties as assigned by Management.

Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Knowledge of the MRP environment. Previous Syspro experience is a definite asset.

Minimum 5 years of similar experience in a manufacturing environment; metal fabrication preferred,

Ability to manage priorities and time without constant supervision.
