Excellent problem solving and analytical skills

Basic computer and math skills to calibrate and measure specifications

Perform daily lab tests ensuring accuracy and timeliness, working with the Quality Department and team concerning any discrepancies.

Testing to include in process checks, pH, sugar brix, allergen, ATP, water activity, and moisture testing on in-process and finished product.

Monitor all quality attributes of raw materials as established; including fruits, liquid sugar, syrup, and packaging materials.

Perform visual and analytical inspections of equipment prior to process starts and conduct as required during processing activities.

Prior experience in vehicle paint process 

Assist painter in pre-paint blending needs 

Work with paint team to assist in keeping vehicle on track for scheduled delivery time

Fill small dents or scratches with body fillers and smooth surfaces to prepare vehicles for painting

Buff and wax the finished paintwork

Disassemble, clean, and reassemble sprayers and power equipment, using solvents, wire brushes, and cloths for cleaning duties

Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, GMP’s and HACCP requirements.

Responsible to clean Dry Blend rooms as per schedule – Dry/ Wet cleaning; may require use of lift equipment to

Responsible to clean shipping, warehouse and production areas, including floors, shipping docks and racking

Responsible to clean Liquid tank farm areas based on cleaning schedule; must be trained on confined space entry.

Utilize the specified cleaning chemicals and equipment (ie.high-pressure sprayers) in a safe manner to clean the

Dispose of waste including used box totes when returned; proper disposal of cardboard, tote bag and skids

ISO 14001: Environmental Management system standard.

Ensure compliance with all legislative requirements in the facility’s geographic location and:

High School Diploma or equivalent general education.

Minimum one year of training and/or experience.

Possess problem solving skills to resolve conflicts.

Possess drive and motivation to continuously learn and to maintain a current knowledge of equipment technology, electronics and safety.

3+ years of experience in the food industry production lines, preferably cookie or biscuit production lines

Toronto, Ontario (CA): 2 factories and 1 distribution Center (cookies)

Columbus, Ohio (USA): 1 factory (cookies & rolled dough)

Support the Quality Inspectors to ensure that products and processes comply with requirements of the quality management system.

Assist Quality Manager in establishing, implementing and maintaining the quality management system.

Ability to make presentations to management during meetings.

Experience with APQP: Process Control Plans, PFMEA, Gauge Planning, and all levels of PPAP requirements.

Manage suppliers’ performance and conduct audits.

Post-Secondary Education in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality or other related discipline.

Adhere to the safety requirements of the client, OH&S and the GeoVerra Safety program on all projects.

Actively participate in Emergency Response Planning, Hazard Assessment, Job Safety Analysis development, daily tailgate meetings and comply with all safety requirements.

Previous experience in Surveying or other related types of work involving the outdoors.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

Must have basic computer skills utilizing windows based software

Remove dunnage from trailers and prep them for loading

Collect, stack and organize pallets

Remove overflow of pallets from zones

Load pallet trailer and maintain general tidiness of the dock

Skills, Experience and Education Required:

·2+ years of Supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment an asset

·Ability to effectively coach, manage, and support employees

·Strong working knowledge of OHSA, ESA and Human Rights legislation

·Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software
