-CCIL Certification for concrete and aggregate testing is considered valuable but is not a mandatory requirement

-CSTS 2020 Certification (Construction Safety Training System) is a MUST

NDT tests for concrete, wood, metals, resins, and plastic

Perform maintenance on testing equipment as needed

Perform inspection activities which require traveling periodically to remote and offshore areas.

Undertake special assignments requiring extensive technical experience and discretion when dealing with outside organizations.

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (higher education is highly desirable, but not required)

7+ years of professional experience in in inspection of assets and inspection and NDT technologies

Working knowledge of international codes and standards applicable to inspection such as (API, ASME, AWS, etc.).

Good knowledge of material engineering properties and specifications, and manufacturing process.

Audit outside agencies to ensure the requirements of the written practice are met.

The work location would be remote with occasional travel (to oilfields in north Alberta).

Basic computer skills including Ms Word, Excel are needed.

Apply for new CWB inspection method to expand the company's inspection scope.

Interpret codes, standards, and other contractual documents that control the NDT methods used.

Select the appropriate method and technique for an NDT inspection.

Knowledge of hand tools, mechanical tools, and inspection experience is a plus, butnotrequired.

Possess interpersonal skills to relate to customers and solve issues.

Excellent communication skills to collaborate with others under any type of condition.

Knowledge of computers and tablet use

Knowledge in google search, and Navigation systems is a plus.
