Previous managerial experience in long term care setting an asset

Forecast menu requirements based on a master menu and prepare production sheets or orders for food preparation workers

Estimate requirements and order food, equipment and supplies

Knowledge and ability to complete RAI-MDS.

Comprehensive knowledge of long-term care concepts and philosophies

Provide great customer service by ensuring the store shelves are stocked and by responding to customer needs

Maintain and stock product displays and shelves that meet company standards

Ensure accurate product scanning and identify inventory needs and assist with ordering

Setup company-directed promotions and programs

Keep department areas neat and ensure health and safety standards

A team player with an attention for detail

Good time management skills, highly organized and a strong attention to detail.

Accurate data entry of sample information into workbooks.

Few years of experience in fresh produce handling and storage would be an asset.

Knowledge of different types of foods and a variety of ethnic foods would be an asset.

Knowledge of a variety of grocery stores, specialty foods stores would be an asset.

Competent knowledge of Excel and Outlook
