Participate in progressive disciplinary meetings with Mobile Security Officers and the Security Programs Manager as required.

Provide direction, motivation, and ongoing training to the Mobile team by setting positive examples and conducting probationary and yearly reviews.

Provide documented, critical feedback and coaching to Mobile Officers either during their shifts, or at shift change each day.

Ensure the completion of a Mobile Department Orientation for every officer currently working on shift.

Ensure all standing post orders and scheduled daily activities are being performed/followed properly by the Mobile team.

Recognize exceptional performance by Mobile Security Officers and issue accolades were due.

Completing security & safety audits and reporting deficiencies to Operations Managers

Any additional tasks prescribed by the Operations Manager

Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills

1 -2 years experience in security. Previous supervisory experience would be an asset.

Intermediate to advanced computer skills with Microsoft office and Tracktik.

Investigating incidents promptly and accurately. Submitting incident reports in a timely manner to the Client Services Manager and the client.

Use of judgement and effective time management as well as being highly organized.

Act as liaison between Operations Managers and Clients on occasion.

Experience in a supervisory role within the security industry

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with diplomacy and sensitivity

Frequent communication and coordination with Dispatch to ensure proper site coverage and incident/emergency response integrity.

Submit daily Shift Summaries in a concise, yet detailed, time specific format.

Minimum of five (5) years of total security experience IS A MUST

Including minimum of two (2) years of supervisory related experience IS A MUST

Minimum High School diploma or Grade 12 education.

Experience with CCTV, access control systems and fire response systems is a must

Two years Mobile experience required

Licensing requirements are subject to province and/or local laws and regulations and will be required prior to employment.

We are looking for a Mobile Supervisor to work in one of our Zones at night

The shift timings currently are 2100-0900 hours.

All duties and responsibilities normally performed by site security personnel;

Daily supervision of Security Personnel, oversee scheduling requirements, security assignments, incident reporting and patrols;

Complete daily supervisory inspections as detailed by the Security Manager;

Assist the Security Manager with training and development of Security Personnel;

Any other tasks as directed by the Security Manager and/or General Manager.

Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in retail environment;

Monitors floor traffic: watches for suspicious activity, communicates with management and surveillance
