Mixed Signal Custom Layout Jobs

• Minimum 3 to 5 years professional experience

10+ years of industry experience in the area of mixed-signal, high-speed CMOS circuit design

Experience with circuit simulators (HSPICE, Spectre, etc)

Strong written and oral communication skills

Lead, design and architect high-speed SERDES subsystems

Conduct Support Mixed-Signal feasibilities for SERDES or other high-speed systems

Support Mixed-Signal IP through the post-tapeout phase, including lab testing, customer bring-up and debug

Strong leadership, organizational, communication and relationship-management skills

LEED & Passive House certification preferred

Experience leading design and working drawing phases

Contract administration experience is an asset

Mid-rise wood-frame design and construction knowledge

Familiar with the local Zoning, Policies, Building Code requirements

Manage and track documents and files checked in and out of the plan database OpenText.

1-5 year(s) of previous railway experience preferred;

WHAT CPKC HAS TO OFFER:

Provide technical expertise in the area of signal design during the commissioning of projects;

Operate S&C CAD system to produce, review, and modify signal system designs;

Demonstrated experience with data entry, document control, and client support

Be fully immersed into project responsibilities by reading and understanding the client contract

Support the project manager with project billing, resourcing, scheduling, earned value analysis, and projecting future project revenue

Experience in the Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) industry

Personable, professional manner with excellent communication skills

Able to prioritize and manage time to meet tight deadlines

Must have over five (5) years of experience in a computerized traffic signal control or similar environment;

Certification as an Engineering Technician or Technologist by O.A.C.E.T.T., or willing to work towards certification, will be considered an asset;

Must have proven oral and written communication skills;
