Lead and manage accounting team.

Post Secondary degree in Accounting or Finance related field.

3 - 5 years’ related Financial Control experience.

Retail / Distribution / Building supply industry experience an asset.

Strong analytic skills, highly organized, keen attention to details and self-motivated.

Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.

Excellent and demonstrable project management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects, relationships, tasks, and deadlines:

Financial Management: always managing by the numbers and understanding the project’s financial position.

Manage and produce development schedules, risks and opportunities to meet the Business Plan, enable sales launch and construction starts

Negotiation: professional experience dealing ethically to resolve issues to maximize financial outcome while still maintaining relationships.

Concise writing and presentation skills are required.

Maintain and promote customer/user awareness, ensuring that the specific needs, desires, and aspirations of the ultimate customers/users are considered in decisions.

Provide great customer service by ensuring the store shelves are stocked and by responding to customer needs

Maintain and stock product displays and shelves that meet company standards

Ensure accurate product scanning and identify inventory needs and assist with ordering

Setup company-directed promotions and programs

Keep department areas neat and ensure health and safety standards

A team player with an attention for detail

Working with the Management Team to ensure pharmacy standards are in effect 100% of the time, including the stockroom.

Planning and preparation for OTC Inventory Management.

Works effectively with management team.

Maintaining the pharmacy OTC section standards to optimize customer experience, drive customer traffic, and positively impact store profitability.

Effective organizational skills and ability to multitask

Previous retail experience (including responsibility for purchasing, Loss Prevention, as well as inventory control) for a minimum of 1 year

Dust or wipe down check-in counters

Empties and cleans check-in counters waste baskets

Spot cleans walls, partitions, light switches and doors, window sills

Cleans and polishes chrome and other polished metal surfaces

Cleans partition glass that is within arm's reach

Dusts baseboards and low air vents

Previous experience in a full service restaurant considered an asset

Strong knowledge of proper food handling procedures

Team player with strong communication skills
