Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound

Nova Scotia College of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Professionals (NSCMIRTP) licensure

Comprehension of the technical language in order to be able to review and use manuals and take part in relevant discussions

Registration with more than one ultrasound credential is an asset

Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

Experience with electronic medical software helpful but not necessary. - using Accuro EMR

Needs to have experience with customer service, invoicing clients, taking payments, selling products etc.

Medical office receptionist to start ASAP in a Burlington.

Needs to be familiar with OHIP, family medicine and aesthetic medicine.

Training will be provided for this software.

Needs to have access to car or transport to medical office.

Submitting claims to OHIP and private insurers

Assisting patients with frame selection/eyeglass sales and pricing

Placing orders for sales and inventory

Excellent use of technology (will be trained on Optosys software)

Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Salary: From $18.00 per hour

Supports management and perform administrative tasks for service delivery

Performs outreach calls to provide information on telemedicine services, generate leads, and schedules appointments with account managers.

Administrative experience/customer service experience is an asset

Excellent communication skills, ability to multi-task and willingness to learn

Knowledge of EMR and G-suite is an asset

Effective interpersonal and problem-solving skills

Incoming phone call management skills desired

Attending to the management of patient medical records

Keep a record of various files and providing general office duties, e.g. faxing, scanning, data entry, etc.

Skills in multi-line phone systems preferred

1+ years of experience as a Medical Receptionist

Addressing patients and visitors, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries

Experience in pediatrics, obstetrics, cardiac and vascular, neurosonography and interventional procedures preferred

All levels of experience encouraged to apply

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.

Graduate of an accredited training program in diagnostic medical imaging

Registered or eligible to be registered with NSCMIRTP and maintain an ongoing active license in good standing

Participation in ultrasound quality assurance activities and advanced training in sonography as required such as fetal cardiac sonography and neurosonography

Excellent knowledge of relevant software applications

Working knowledge of healthcare insurance is preferred

The medical reception experience is considered an asset.

· Maintain and manage patient records and safeguard the confidentiality

Excellent command of the English language (written & verbal) and proficiency with spoken Russian

General administrative and clerical procedures
