Mechanical Project Technician Jobs in Ontario

Experience with Intune Device Management

Assist with Office365 Email Migrations, OneDrive/SharePoint migrations, Teams and Teams Voice, Intune deployments, incident management, and post-deployment support

Experience in managed services (MSP) or value-added reseller (VAR) environment is a must have to apply

Collaborate with the Project Manager and participate in service desk handoffs

Work effectively both remotely and on client sites

Experience in a similar role or related field

Experience with mechanical systems such as but not limited to:

Manage external contractors and audit all studies and recommendations

Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized college or university required

Licensed professional engineer in the Province of Ontario, or ability to obtain one

Minimum of 5-years in manufacturing environment in North America

Familiar with industry standards, codes and regulations as applicable to manufacturing environment

Contract Administration and Project Management

Process / Procedure / Templates / Knowledge Development

Minimum of 2 years experience in building science. Experience with residential building systems (townhouse, midrise, highrise, etc.).

Technical Knowledge of the Area

Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

KEY RESULT AREAS FOR THIS ROLE

Strong time management and organizational skills

Develop knowledge of Schuler Standards and Schuler Service Manual formats.

Submit field reports and/or documents as required by the Field Operations Manager in a timely manner.

Advise customers and representatives of upgrade opportunities within the area in addition to practical advice gained from field experience.

Participate in training for specific Schuler Presses and equipment and OSHA Federal and State Safety Requirements.

At least 2-5 year of related experience required.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work within a team environment

1 - 2+ years’ experience in a mechanical field

Previous experience working in an ISO9000, AS9100 environment an asset

Experience with Lean manufacturing an asset

Community College Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical technology or equivalent experience

Assemble, repair, rework and/or troubleshoot complex opto-mechanical lens assemblies

Experience of project management process and ability to handle multiple stakeholders.

Proven experience and domain knowledge in the oil & gas, chemicals or similar process industries.

Good knowledge and experience with material selection for different applications.

Participate in technical discussions with end customer to understand requirements, constraints and implied requirements.

Coordinate with engineering teams for equipment design, piping and skid design meeting end customer requirement.

Good knowledge and understanding of

Creative problem-solving skills, conflict management within different organizations (centralized and matrix organizational structures)

Assist customers for problematic mechanical equipment and offer economic solutions.

Two years experience working with mechanical engineering, manufacturing, and distribution operations in an industrial environment.

Experience on a technical support and/or customer service type team. Public speaking / training experience is an asset.

Strong knowledge of Mechanical systems.

Solid communication (both verbal and written) and relationship-building skills
