Mechanical Project Coordinator Jobs in Nova Scotia

Maintain and update document control logs and follow through on project management procedures: change orders, as-built drawings, close out documents.

Proactively identify and bring to management’s attention potential problems and/or schedule delays.

You have related Mechanical Engineering post-secondary education and a minimum of one year related experience; trade experience a definite asset.

Support Project Managers and Site Supervisors to develop and actively maintain the project schedule and ensure project targets are achieved.

You are proficient in Microsoft Office and MS Project; experience with scheduling software such as Primavera an asset.

You have experience analyzing and understanding mechanical construction drawings and experience working on commercial projects.

Degree or diploma in construction management or engineering and/or trade qualification or equivalent field experience

Skills, Abilities, And Other Requirements

Manage and provide scheduling, planning, organizing of labour, subcontractors and materials.

5-10 years’ experience in the construction industry

Duties And Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

Ensure company safety policy is adhered to on all projects.

3 to 5 years with related experiences in the industrial industry

Manage the delivery of equipment to be installed;

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar position;

Team-player attitude, excellent interpersonal communication skills;

The current rotation schedule is 14/7, with accommodation provided on site.
