Materiel Acquisition And Support Specialist Jobs

Supporting software management activities including software changes.

Previous experience as a Life Cycle Materiel Manager with hull and/or other marine systems;

Analyzing requirements associated with baseline changes to the ships configuration, equipment and software;

Supporting Classification Society surveys and other certification approvals; and

Possess a minimum of 5 years of demonstrated technical professional work experience in the marine/offshore sector within the last 10 years;

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office;

Supporting software management changes and development of requirements documentation.

Possess a minimum of 5 years of demonstrated technical professional work experience in the marine/offshore sector within the last 10 years;

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office;

Strong communication skills (oral and written);

Ability to operate related equipment.

Ability to deal with others effectively.

Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.

Post-secondary education; Library and Information Technology preferred; equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered

2 years of related library experience required

Excellent knowledge of the scholarly publishing industry and library acquisitions practices

Knowledge of PeopleSoft Financials is an asset

Highly developed written, verbal and technical skills; ability to clearly describe complex situations is essential
