Perform R&D tests according to project requirements

Excellent comprehension, analysis and problem-solving skills

Knowledge of material physics (an asset)

Oral and written communication skills: French and English

Knowledge of WHMIS, OHS and laboratory best practices (an asset)

Prepare the equipment and instruments needed to carry out analyses or experiments, e.g. mechanical-dynamic analyzers (DMA).

Post-secondary education with a Technical Diploma/Science Degree or equivalent industry experience

Basic computer skills with experience with MS office and LIMS

Good communication skills and fluency in English both verbal and written

Perform basic laboratory procedures including preparation of samples, reagents and calibration solutions.

Provide general lab support including washing glassware, cleaning work stations and waste disposal.

Calibrate, operate, maintain and troubleshoot intermediate instruments.

Experience with concepts of laboratory automation and/or hands-on experience working with automated equipment.

Experience with AI/ML approaches and data science, in particular as it relates to their application with experimental data and/or experimental optimization.

Recent experience in leading research projects involving a multidisciplinary team. Experience working in an agile environment would be considered an asset.

Significant experience in the preparation of scientific publications and new research proposals.

Experience with robotics and mechatronics woud be an asset.

Recent experience in mineral processing and extractive metallurgy, with a focus in extraction and purification.

Experience and/ or knowledge of construction sites;

Communication and interpersonal skills, must be able to work effectively and contribute to group relationships;

Strong work ethic and leadership skills;

Knowledge of asphalt pavement, Portland cement concrete and properties of soils would be beneficial;

You will review and understand project specifications and test standards;

Demonstrated skills in effective time management and completing con-current deliverables maintaining quality and timeline;

Provide process knowledge of TTC processes as it relates to the end to end Finance processes;

Provide input to change management/communications, cutover, deployment, and production support for the future sustainment team;

Communicate project issues/barriers related to Finance to the Project Manager as required;

Comply with project management processes including issue and risk management and escalate as required to the Project Manager.

Acting as the representative of the Finance Department on behalf of the sponsor;

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS And ABILITIES

Strong organizational and scheduling skills

Obtaining and recording test data in accordance with standards

Analyzing test data and performing routing calculations

May prepare project files for compliance with operating procedures

Performing other work as required

Supporting the Process Specialist with the development of procedures for Special Process documentation and participating in equipment qualification tasks

Supporting the Process Specialist with production of prototypes and pre-production samples according to cost and schedule requirements

Participating in the selection, installation, and qualification of all new manufacturing equipment (except for product-specific Test Department equipment)

Maintaining product and company reputation by ensuring compliance with government regulations, customer requirements and industry standards

3D CAD and 3D printing experience preferred

Strong analytical problem-solving approach and hands-on experience

Experience and demonstrated knowledge and troubleshooting skills in injection molding processes.

Must have a good knowledge and understanding of product requirements and specifications.

Start-up equipment and adjust process settings until 'first off' qualification is complete.

All other responsibilities and duties, as assigned.

Requires good interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a cooperative environment.

Working knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and good manufacturing practices.
