You have eight (8) to ten (10) years of commercial management experience, ideally including the following:

Day to day management of contracts (prime or sub) including, where necessary, amendments, claims and dispute resolution

Experience in maintenance / operations involving boilers and pressure vessels would be considered an asset.

309A license with a minimum of 5 years’ experience.

Ensure safety and security of the Marine terminal and onboard vessels

Provide K9 Patrol/Protection support in accordance with established procedures

Provide K9 explosive or narcotic detection support

Regular patrols every 1-2 hours

Attend bi-weekly K9 maintenance training

Experience with projects involving Quality Management, Field Inspection/Engineering, and writing reports;

Communicates relevant inspection and project information to the Client’s Project Engineer/ Manager, operations personnel, and other key project personnel;

Does not direct or interfere with the contractor’s work; consults the Project Engineer/Manager to discuss any issues and concerns; and

Power Line Technician, Red Seal Electrician, Electrical Design Engineer, or Design Technologist with relevant distribution construction experience;

Experience working in proximity to other utilities (gas, electric, communications, water, sewer, storm, etc.);

Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite.

Inspectors would be supported in learning AutoCAD, Engineering, and/or project management as it relates to the telecom industry

Has experience in the telecom industry

Has experience performing audits and inspections on cellphone towers and rooftops

Has or have previously held a High Angle Rescue training certification

Has or have previously held a Working at Heights certification

Inspectors would be working from home if not on site visits

Home Inspector Certification (Carson Dunlop, InterNACHI or other recognized educational institution).

Experience as a Home Inspector or construction/skilled trades experience is considered a major asset.

Knowledgeable in Ontario Building Code - Part 9.
