Manager Of Production Finance Jobs

5+ years of recent relevant financial experience

Demonstrated technology and analytical abilities

Minimum of five years’ experience (finance, strategy, marketing), ideally in the technology/media industry 

Work alongside the Marketing and Technology teams to evaluate the ROI of building internal capabilities versus employing external solutions;  

Experience in games is not necessary, but preferred 

Knowledge of marketing KPIs, audience segmentation, user acquisition, target prioritization, and  the advertising value chain 

Excellent knowledge of Office Suite software, particularly Excel 

Excellent analytical, planning, communication, and organizational skills 

Assist and advise production and finance management by providing data and highlighting issues with financial implications for relevance

Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting (BBA, Bachelor of Management, Economics)

Partner with production management and artist managers to align project staffing assumptions

5-7 years of prior work experience, preferably with a media/entertainment company or other applicable operational finance environment/role

SAP experience or knowledge is a plus

Partner with Production leadership to create and manage production schedules and budgets that deliver quality productions on budget and on time

Finance Manager – reporting to VP of Finance and overseeing team of financial analysts

• Preparation of presentations on financial and operational results to corporate team and senior management.

Strong background in technical accounting under IFRS (US GAAP knowledge an asset);

• Superior communication (English oral and written) and interpersonal skills;

• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines;

Base Salary $125K - $130K /annum plus bonus up to 25%

Excellent project management skills with ability to produce quality work with an attention to detail.

Skilled in time management and the ability to prioritize tasks

Build and maintain collaborative relationships with operations management and the Corporate Development team and work effectively with cross functional support teams.

Interact and communicate effectively with target companies' management.

Recognized professional accounting or finance designation (CPA, CFA, CBV) or equivalent.

5+ years of progressive experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Minimum three years of related experience

Experience with all aspects of financial statement preparation in a private enterprise is required.

Preparation of the year-end financial statements and note disclosure.

Works closely with Grant Thornton, the external auditors during year-end audits (both fiscal and calendar).

Looks for efficiencies and innovation in workflow and processes and provides recommendations for improvement to Senior leadership.

Must have an Undergraduate Degree in Business (Bachelor of Commerce / Bachelor of Business Administration) with a concentration in accounting.

Manager Finance & FP&A – start-up – dynamic team - 50% remote

Manage financial controls and accounting procedures;

Minimum 5+ years of experience ;

Experience in CPG sector a plus;

Good communication skills, in French and in English;

The Manager will lead and manage an existing team while overseeing accounting, FP&A, treasury, banking and operations.
