Overview A Maintenance Cleaner is responsible for performing general cleaning and maintenance duties in a variety of settings, such as offices, schools, hospitals, and other public or private facilities. They are responsible for ensuring that the facility is kept clean and safe for all occupants. Detailed Job Description Maintenance Cleaners are responsible for performing a variety of cleaning tasks, such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and scrubbing. They may also be responsible for cleaning windows, walls, and other surfaces. They may also be responsible for disposing of trash, cleaning bathrooms, and stocking supplies. Maintenance Cleaners may also be responsible for performing minor repairs and maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs, unclogging drains, and replacing filters. Job Skill Requirements Maintenance Cleaners should have excellent organizational and time management skills. They should be able to work independently and be able to follow instructions. They should also be able to lift and move heavy objects. Job Qualifications Most employers require Maintenance Cleaners to have a high school diploma or equivalent.
