Maturity, presence, sensitivity and experience in dealing with senior relationships (internal management, external advisors, employees, etc.)

Post-announcement support and coordination: risk identification and management, approvals process, closing, integration support, etc.

Responsible for end-to-end management of certain transactions (size / complexity dependent), including

Demonstrated knowledge of key finance and accounting issues

Mentor, coach and help a small team of Managers, Associates and support staff

Excellent skills with MS Word, MS Powerpoint, MS Excel, including financial modeling

Drive stakeholder communications, develop effective stakeholder management required for team delivery.

Control change to development project scope through accepted change management processes, impact assessment and documentation.

Responsible for management of the overall development / design teams providing both leadership and technical guidance.

Oversee and report on project status, manage project team resources and assignments, ensure project milestones are met and up to standard.

Ensure all requirements, project plans, and changes to commitment are communicated to all affected team members.

Keep other supervisors apprised of issues arising in pre-production and shot production and offer creative solutions to those issues.

Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Computer Animation, or other relevant area of study and/or equivalent job experience

3+ years of Industry experience (Animation and/or Visual Effects)

Knowledge of Renderman a plus

Linux operating system experience a plus

Substance Designer knowledge a plus

You have excellent computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

You have great organization and planning skills, and an ability to manage multiple situations simultaneously;

You manage with integrity in a way that promotes our company culture, values and vision;

You lead, mentor and manage all store staff;

You have experience in optical field (an asset);

You have strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and mentor team members in a fast- paced environment;

Strong communication, task management and organisational skills.

Evidence of strong artistic skills as presented in portfolio/showreel, either on texturing or shading tasks.

The ability to manage multiple assets at the same time, and put them seamlessly together in a visually coherent solution

Experience with all aspects of the rendering pipeline.

Experience using Substance Designer, Substance Painter, Zbrush or other similar software.

Working knowledge of Python scripting.
